Beth Brown

Beth Brown studied Suzuki violin instruction at the South Carolina Suzuki Institute at Furman University and at the Virginia Suzuki Institute at Emory and Henry College. Beth has completed additional teacher training for the O’Connor Method. In her teaching, she emphasizes blending the strengths of both the Suzuki and O’Connor violin methods. She enjoys teaching all ages and has taught music and movement group classes at Friends School of Charlotte, St. Martin’s Preschool, and Plaza Presbyterian Weekday School. She is a member of the Plaza Family Band, which performs children’s music at various venues and has recorded three CDs together. She has also been a member of and recorded with The Mike Strauss Band.
