Deborah Chandler
Deborah Chandler has been teaching music for over 30 years, 10 of those years with Arts+. Deb grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she began violin lessons in elementary school. Her musical studies continued at the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania at West Chester with a B.S. in Music Education. While at West Chester, Deb received training in the the Suzuki Violin Method. She has taught orchestra for public schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and North Carolina. In 2003, she received her National Board Certification in Early and Young Adult Music Education and was re-certified in 2013. Deb retired from public school teaching in 2017 but continues working with Arts+ as a Suzuki violin instructor and Project Harmony Strings Instructor. Traveling, biking, and Green Bay Packers football games are a few of her interests.
