Nancy Tabb
Nancy has been with the Arts+ team just over two years, having moved to North Carolina from Aurora, Illinois. A veteran musician, Nancy formerly taught private piano lessons at her home studio as well as group lessons at the Paramount School of the Arts. An experienced accompanist, she has served as the Collaborative Pianist at East Aurora High School and was also club sponsor of Tri-M (the National Music Honor Society). While in Aurora, Nancy accompanied events including the Fox Valley Music Festival, various string and vocal recitals, and IHSA music contests.
Previously, Nancy served as music director at Word of Life Lutheran Church in Naperville. She has played professionally at the Von Maur and Nordstrom stores and has accompanied the Elgin Masterwork Chorale as well as community and high school theater productions. Her vast teaching experience also includes Waubonsee Community College, Walther Lutheran High School, St. Francis High School, and Grace Lutheran School.
In addition to teaching piano at Arts+, Nancy currently serves as the Choral accompanist and organist at the Denver United Methodist Church in Denver, North Carolina.
Nancy holds a BA in Music from Illinois Wesleyan and received her master’s degree in piano performance from Northwestern University.
