Inclement Weather Policy

CSA's Inclement Weather Policy can always be found on our website and is listed below:

Community School of the Arts generally follows the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools closing policy for inclement weather, however exceptions do occur based on our community partner locations and weather conditions in the evening, when most of our programs take place. In the event of bad weather or a CMS closing, parents should always check for closing information on CSA’s website at www.csarts.org, CSA’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/csarts.clt, or CSA’s main phone line at 704.377.4187. Any information on CSA closings will be posted by 11 a.m. on days with potential inclement weather. Lessons or classes canceled due to weather will be made up at a later date at no additional cost. The School staff and faculty absolutely do not want you to venture outside in unsafe driving conditions, so please be cautious in your judgment and talk to your teacher if you don’t feel safe attending your scheduled CSA program. Our students and parents are precious to us, and we want you to be safe! The CSA website, www.csarts.org, and Facebook page, www.facebook.com/csarts.clt, will have the latest news on lesson and class cancellations, so please check them often during inclement weather.
