Dr. Lisa Wong Visits Charlotte Through Spotlight CLT

Dr. Lisa Wong, a pediatrician, violinist, and violist, will visit Charlotte through our Spotlight CLT program Feb. 21-22. She is passionately dedicated to the healing arts of music and medicine and believes deeply that the arts can enhance learning, create empathy, and promote healing. She performs with the Longwood Symphony Orchestra, a Boston-based ensemble of health care providers that combines music, medicine, and community service and served as its president for more than 20 years.

While in Charlotte, Wong will work with health-related organizations like Atrium Health where she will speak and lead discussions about music and wellness. She will also hold a public talk at Southminster on Friday, Feb. 22. More details below:
