The Charlotte Ledger: 97-Year-Old Piano Teacher Dzidra Reimanis Retires
Fifty-five years ago, Dzidra Reimanis became a piano teacher with Arts+, when it was founded as Community School of the Arts. Now, at age 97, Reimanis is retiring.
Christina Bolling of The Charlotte Ledger spoke with Reimanis and Arts+ President and Executive Director Devlin McNeil about Reimanis's time with Arts+, her decision to teach for so long, and why she is retiring now.
