Class Description

Our Exploring Strings class for grades 3-5 is the perfect class for young students to explore and learn about two beloved instruments – the violin and cello. This six-week class provides a fun introduction to the violin and cello. Students will learn the parts of the instrument, how to care for a string instrument, and how to hold the instrument and bow. This class will build a solid foundation for future string studies and include other fun music, movement, and listening games.

Come discover the joy of beginning violin and cello as a community, with other young musicians! The final class will be a mini-concert for our family and friends!

DESIGNED FOR CAREGIVER + CHILD

This class series is designed for a caregiver to participate in the class alongside the child, in order to make learning the instrument a family effort with plenty of support for their young musician.
