Middle School Piano 1.0

  • Grades 5-8
  • Thursdays from Feb. 6 to March 13
  • Arts+ Community Campus
  • $120

Class Description

This 6-week class for middle school students will focus on the basics of learning to play the piano in a fun, group setting. No experience is required for our Middle School 1.0 classes. We will start at the very beginning by learning how the keyboard is arranged, reading your first few notes, and playing your very first songs. This class will teach a few simple songs as well as some starter chords that serve as an introduction to playing pop songs. We make learning fun through playing a variety of genres—including pop, rock, and classical.

Students with some experience can also take this class, and we will tailor the music to their level. For intermediate and advancing players, we do recommend private lessons instead.
