Tim Lemmond Scholarship Fund
To honor psychologist Tim Lemmond, this fund serves students with emotional and behavioral challenges to promote healing, growth, and creativity through outstanding arts education.
Program Description
The Tim Lemmond Scholarship Fund was established in 2012 to honor the memory of musician and psychologist Tim Lemmond. The fund provides free music workshops to children served by Alexander Youth Network — children with significant emotional and behavioral challenges — through our ArtsReach program
In his professional life as a psychologist, Tim Lemmond felt privileged to work with children as they navigated the foster care and adoption systems. He understood the profound sense of healing that music can provide. So, after his death, Lemmond’s family and friends generously established this scholarship to bring the joy of music lessons to the children he loved helping.
