Program Description
Our Rock and Blues Program unleashes the power of pop, rock, and other contemporary music genres!
In addition to recital opportunities, our Rock and Blues students get experiences performing at gigs around the city through gig nights in professional venues and at community festivals and events. You’ll learn by doing in real venues with sound, lighting, and an audience.
Our Rock and Blues teachers have experience as active musicians around Charlotte and beyond. Their goal is to make learning your instrument fun by exploring your musical interests — while also making sure that you’re equipped with the foundational skills you need to be successful in any style. It doesn’t matter what age you are either, as our Rock and Blues family includes both adults and children.
With a variety of instruments offered and locations all over Charlotte, the Rock and Blues Program with Arts+ is where you can truly let loose your inner rockstar.
